Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the online store available at https://cacaolaboratory-eu.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

The Platform offers cacao products for sale within the European Union. All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include the applicable Value Added Tax (VAT):

3a. Purchase Process

To place an order through our online store, follow these steps:

  1. Browse the Store – Visit www.cacaolaboratory.si and explore our selection of cacao products.

  2. Select a Product – Choose the desired product and quantity, then click Add to Cart.

  3. Review Your Cart – Access your cart via the icon at the top right corner and review your selected items.

  4. Proceed to Checkout – Click Checkout to begin the purchase process.

  5. Enter Details – Provide your shipping and billing information.

  6. Choose a Payment Method – Select your preferred payment option (Stripe or PayPal).

  7. Confirm and Pay – Review your order summary, accept the Terms & Conditions, and finalize your purchase by completing the payment.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. You will be notified again when your order has been shipped.

4. Ordering and Payment

To place an order, select the desired products and proceed to checkout. Payment can be made using the following methods:

By placing an order, you confirm that all billing information provided is accurate and complete. Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully authorized.

All transactions are encrypted and secured using industry-standard protocols to ensure safe processing of your payment data.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Free shipping may be available for orders exceeding a specified amount, as indicated on the Platform.

6. Returns and Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 14 days of receipt, provided it is unopened and in its original condition. To initiate a return, contact us at info@cacaolaboratory-eu.com. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

7. User Accounts

You may create an account on the Platform to facilitate future purchases. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms & Conditions.

8. Coupons

  1. Each coupon is identified by a Coupon Code and has different requirements and rewards. Please check your coupon — all requirements stated on the coupon must be met to receive the discount.
    1. Coupon values are as specified on the coupon.
    2. Limit of one coupon per household.
    3. Coupons are intended for single use only.
    4. Coupons apply to all payment methods that you can provide on the website .

Coupons are redeemable only on the cacaolaboratory.si. At times, coupons may be limited to one specific site; please check your coupon to verify which site(s) the coupon applies to.

In the case of a multiple-item order, the value of the coupon is allocated to each item based on the proportion of the item’s value to the total value of all items, excluding shipping, taxes and other charges.

  1. Certain items may not be eligible for a discount. This includes new items which, by law, cannot be sold at a discount in certain countries.
  2. A coupon cannot be used to pay for taxes, shipping and handling or other charges.
  3. If your coupon has a minimum purchase requirement, taxes, shipping and handling and other charges do not apply towards the minimum purchase amount.
  4. Some promotional offers may not be combined with other offers in the same order. Generally, only one coupon code may be used per order.
  5. Each coupon is valid for a limited time only and expires on the date specified in the offer.
  6. Coupons are not for resale and are not redeemable for cash.
  7. Coupons cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  8. If a coupon is used and your entire order is cancelled or rejected, or if you return all items in your order, you will be refunded the actual amount paid and your coupon will no longer be valid.
  9. Borgla d.o.o. reserves the right to discontinue a coupon at any time.

9. Privacy Policy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available at https://cacaolaboratory-eu.com/privacy-policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Inštitut za neodvisnost Ljubljana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or the purchase of products.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
